HEAVEN HEAVEN PRESENTS
eysir
Meet eysir
Robert Siroen and Hartog Eysman met at the conservatory in Arnhem. In 2017 they started writing songs together. They are small, loving stories. About ordinary people and their dreams, their struggles and their happiness. Their songs are honest and pure, warm and soulful. Influences range from 1970s jazz and soul to Bill Withers and Jimi Hendrix. And in the background you always hear the Blues. Their debut 'I Came Here To Dream' was released in 2020. With songs in which it is sometimes about the silence between the notes. From the review on Kippenvel: “Subdued and intense. Songs that are contemplative and exciting at the same time.”
tHE VALUE OF MUSIC IN eysir’s life
Robert: My life as it is now has been totally shaped by music. So without music my life would most likely have been very different. It has brought me to where I am today, it has allowed me to discover so much in social, spiritual and intellectual areas. Music enriches my life. My inspiration comes from nature and the world around me.

their single: 'Leave Tonight/ The Open Road' is a combination of two short songs. Together they describe both sides of a turning point in one's life. The necessity to make a change, the yearning feeling for new experiences. Even if you don't know where the journey will lead you, you know that it'll be different, taking the first steps into the unknown.
